1st International 3rd National Integrated Nursing and Midwifery Congress

GENERAL INFORMATION

Congress Center

Our congress will be held at the Ankara Etlik City Hospital Conference Center between May 7-9, 2026.

Language of the Congress

The official language of the congress is Turkish. All general sessions will be conducted in Turkish. Only one or two international sessions will be included in the congress program, and these sessions may be conducted in English.

Certificate of Participation

All participants who register for the congress will receive a digital certificate of participation.

Invitation Letter

All participants who have completed the registration process will receive an invitation letter upon request. This letter is intended solely to assist the participant in obtaining permission from their institution.

Awards

Awards will be given separately in both nursing and midwifery fields for the papers presented at the congress that are selected as winners as a result of the scientific committee evaluation.

Award-winning works will receive appropriate certificates of achievement within the scope of the congress.

Academic Criteria

Our congress is planned to be evaluated within the scope of the Higher Education Council Regulations as "a study whose full text/abstract has been published in print/electronic form at other international/national scientific meetings".


ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstracts will be submitted through the online abstract submission system located on the congress website. Abstracts of the same study must be uploaded to the system in both Turkish and English.

Within the scope of the congress:

  • Oral presentation

  • Poster presentation

applications will be accepted.

 

Abstracts to be presented at the congress must not have been previously published or presented anywhere. The presented works should contribute to scientific development and contain a clear concluding message. All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee. Authors are responsible for the scientific and legal aspects of the abstract.

  • A single author may submit a maximum of two abstracts.

  • A single abstract may have a maximum of five authors.

  • Participants presenting an abstract must have completed their congress registration.

  • For accepted abstracts, participants must complete their registration by the specified date.

ABSTRACT WRITING GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts will be submitted online via the congress website.

  • Academic titles should not be used in author names.

  • Author names should be written with only the first letter capitalized.

  • Authors' institutional names and addresses must be fully specified.

  • The abstract title should be written with only the first letter capitalized. (Abbreviations are an exception.)

  • The full name of any abbreviation used should be given in parentheses the first time it appears in the text.

  • Abstracts should be structured with the following headings: Aim, Method, Results, Conclusion.

  • No references should be included in the abstract.

  • The abstract text (excluding title, name, and institutional information) should not exceed 300 words.

  • The number of keywords should be at least 3 and at most 5.

  • Papers should be written in Times New Roman, 12 point font, with 1.5 line spacing and justified alignment.

  • No spacing should be left between paragraphs, and paragraph indentation should not be used.

Papers that do not comply with these rules will not be considered for evaluation.

ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  • Papers accepted as oral presentations may be prepared using one of the electronic presentation programs.

  • The total presentation time, including discussion, is 7 minutes (5 minutes presentation, 2 minutes discussion).

  • It is mandatory for the presenter to be registered as a presenter in the presentation system and to have completed their congress registration.

  • Presentations cannot be submitted on behalf of someone else; the presenter must be an author or co-author.

  • An author may present a maximum of two oral presentations.

  • Presentations not presented at the congress will not be included in the abstract book.

  • Presentation files for accepted and registered oral presentations must be submitted to the Presentation Control Room before the session.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Posters will be displayed in printed (physical) format throughout the congress. The following points should be considered when preparing posters:

  • Posters should be prepared in a vertical format.

  • Poster size should be 70 cm x 100 cm.

  • Posters should be prepared as single-piece prints.

  • The poster title, author names, and institutional information should be clearly displayed on the poster.

  • The poster content should consist of the following sections: Introduction, Aim, Method, Results, Conclusion, and References.

  • Text should be at least 24 points, with headings in a larger font.

  • Images and tables should be clear enough to be readable from a distance.

  • Avoid dense background images that reduce readability in poster design.

  • Posters must be displayed in the designated area within the hours specified in the congress program.

  • Poster presenters must be present at the designated poster area at the specified evaluation time.

  • Posters not displayed or presented within the specified time will not be considered for evaluation.

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: April 24, 2026

  • Abstract Results Announcement Date: May 2, 2026

EVALUATION OF ABSTRACTS

  • Abstracts will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee, with the names and institutional information of the researchers kept confidential.

  • Each abstract will be reviewed by at least two members of the scientific committee for scientific quality and suitability.

  • At least one participant must be registered for the congress during the evaluation process.

  • Abstracts for which participant registration is incomplete will not be included in the congress book.

  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation type (oral/poster) of the abstract.

  • Information regarding acceptance/rejection and presentation format will be communicated to the authors.

  • Congress abstracts will be published as a PDF e-book of abstracts on the website after the congress.
